Liverpool are set to reward Simon Mignolet with a new contract, according to reports from The Guardian.

Mignolet has been a divisive figure among the Liverpool fans since his £9million move from Sunderland back in the summer of 2013 but manager Jurgen Klopp is clearly a huge admirer of the Belgian international.

Now according to reports, it has been claimed that the Reds are ready to reward Mignolet with a brand new contract before the turn of the year and the goalkeeper is set to receive a raise from his current £60,000-per-week deal.
