Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes it's a sign of progress that everyone at the club was disappointed by the 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Reds took the lead in the game at Old Trafford through a James Milner penalty in the first half, but they were pegged back by a late equaliser from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Mignolet suggests such a result, which in the past may have been a positive, shows just how much the club has improved in recent times/
"You are always disappointed when you concede a late goal," said Mignolet.
"They threw so many long balls at it and it is always sore when they score. They had a bit of luck and that is the only way they could score.
"But it is a sour feeling because we played well. They threw everything they could at us. We still created chances on the counter-attack but, unfortunately, we couldn't score the second goal, which would have killed the game.
"Yet it is a massive step if everyone is disappointed when you draw 1-1 at Old Trafford."
