Mignolet to complete Sunderland transfer tomorrow

Sunderland expect to complete the signing of Sint-Truiden goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

The Sunderland Echo says Mignolet will travel to England this evening and become a Sunderland player tomorrow.

The Belgian keeper is scheduled for a medical in the North East tomorrow morning and, after the formalities of the deal are completed, the 21-year-old St Truiden star will become Steve Bruce's second signing of the summer.

The signing of Mignolet will mean that the Sunderland manager has already made substantial progress in his squad strengthening before the transfer merry-go-round has really started.
