Midweek games don't worry Brisbane Roar's Theoklitos

Brisbane Roar face a testing schedule in the next three weeks with six games in 21 days.

But the cluttered fixture doesn't bother goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos who says all clubs will be affected by midweek obligations as the season wears on.

"I think everyone's squads will be tested," he said.

"Everyone has got their ideal starting eleven, but when you're playing so many games you're going to need your whole squad.

"Obviously three games in a week is a lot of games but in saying that we've got a squad of healthy players who are all ready to play.

"We're in a fortunate position here at Brisbane because we've got a lot of depth."

The Roar take on the Newcastle Jets at Suncorp Stadium this Saturday before hosting Central Coast Mariners on Wednesday, October 20 and then have another home game three days later against Melbourne Victory in what will be the first of two busy weeks for the club.

Theoklitos said it was vital to keep their undefeated run of four games at home going if they want to remain at the pointy end of the ladder.

"It's really critical for us to keep this run of form going, especially at home," he added.

"Hopefully we can get some points on the board, and let the others chase us.

"We've got a good home record, and we've talked about making Suncorp a fortress so we've got to continue winning games."
