Egypt international Mido could be on his way out at Middlesbrough according to the player's brother.

After limited opportunities from manager Gareth Southgate, it is believed that Mido is keen to move on from the Riverside.

"Mido is on the verge of leaving Middlesbrough because he wants to play regularly," Mido's brother, Tamer Hossam Wasfi, told FilGoal.com.

"He was approached by some mid-table clubs in England, but is still considering his options regarding the next move."

Reports have claimed that Mido could be on his way to Wigan but Wasfi denied those allegations.

"I don't think Mido is tempted by Wigan, even though they are interested," he added.
