Egyptian legend Mido has concerns over Ramadan Sobhi's progress at Stoke City.

Mido is tipping the 20-year-old to build on a promising debut campaign in the Premier League and prove he can be one of the main men at Stoke – as long as he is given the chance.

“I think it's been a great debut season for Ramadan," he told The Sentinel.

“I think that Mark Hughes gave him enough minutes to learn and to express himself and played him at the right times.

“He will be much better next season, but Stoke need to find him enough room to be a regular player because he proved that he can be a regular.

“One of Shaqiri or Arnautovic has to leave for Ramadan to progress."
