Middlesbrough's Walker chasing more Aberdeen glory

Middlesbrough youngster Josh Walker is determined to make another significant contribution for Aberdeen in the second-leg of tonight's UEFA Cup clash at Bayern Munich.

England U19 midfielder Walker scored in last week's 2-2 draw and said: "It was great for the club to produce such an encouraging performance against Bayern in the first leg at Pittodrie.

"To take the lead twice against such a fantastic team shows what we are capable of.

"I can't wait for the second leg and there would be no better way to celebrate my 19th birthday than by winning.

"I'm hoping to retain my place in the team and I'll really enjoy the occasion."

Walker admits Bayern start as overwhelming favourites but added: "They've got some top class individuals like Klose, Toni, Ze Roberto and Lucio.

"However, we were able to compete with them in the first leg and can do the same again in Munich."
