Robert Huth is eager to see what new Middlesbrough signing Afonso Alves can bring to the team.

He said: "It is brilliant to see another striker come in. We are lacking a couple of goals and hopefully he can put a bit of pressure on the other strikers.

"I don't know much about him to be fair, but I am delighted that he is coming here and I am looking forward to working with him.

"Hopefully he can score some of the chances we are creating - but I am not bothered who scores as long as we do, even if it is Mark Schwarzer."
