Middlesbrough's Hoyte backs Wheater to be OK for Chelsea clash

Justin Hoyte is confident Middlesbrough can count on David Wheater for this weekend's clash with Chelsea.

Wheater was asked to travel by England boss Fabio Capello, but Southgate feels there is a risk of the 21-year-old feeling fatigue during the Chelsea game.

However, Hoyte feels Wheater will cope with the extra demands.

He said: "Wheats will be fine. He is a 100% committed player in every game and Saturday will be no different.

"I'm sure he would enjoy the England experience and now he will want to do everything he can to try to help us beat Chelsea."
