Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng will hold talks with Hull City this week.
Boateng has returned from holiday ready to have talks with Hull.
No fee has been agreed between the clubs, although Tigers chairman Paul Duffen - who completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Geovanni, 28, on a free from Manchester City on Saturday - is confident of landing the former Aston Villa man for around £1million.
