Middlesbrough trio Brad Jones, Rhys Williams and Scott McDonald have all made it into Australia's provisional World Cup finals squad. All three would be making their first trip to the finals if they were to make the final squad.

The Socceroos are due to assemble in Melbourne on May 19, where they will play a warm-up game against New Zealand five days later, two days before they leave for South Africa.

They will face Denmark and the United States on June 1 and 5 respectively at the Ruimsig Stadium near Johannesburg before opening their Group D campaign against Germany in Durban on June 13.
