Julio Arca admits he and Fabio Rochemback must be at the top of their game if they're to keep their places in Middlesbrough's midfield.
"But I hope that Fabio and I can continue to play well enough together to stay there.
"We understand each other quite well.
"But the gaffer has a lot of good players to choose from and you know that you cannot afford to have a bad game.
"Me, Fabio, George (Boateng) and Lee (Cattermole) have all played in the middle, and we are all different players, so the manager can mix any of us together.
"Then the two new players (Gary O'Neil and Mohamed Shawky) have joined the squad. It is great for the team because it is always good to have strong competition for places."
