Middlesbrough youngster McEachran convinced he can make it at Chelsea

Middlesbrough midfielder Josh McEachran sees his future at parent club Chelsea.

John Terry was the last academy product to establish himself at Chelsea, and McEachran is well aware of the task that faces him if he is to reach his ambition.

"Chelsea managers are under a lot of pressure so they'll go with experienced players," McEachran told The Times.

"But you've got to be patient and hopefully my time will come.

"All the English lads have been really good to me, especially Ashley Cole, who has stayed in touch and sends me messages.

"There's an English corner in the dressing room and when I got into the first team they welcomed me straight in, gave me a locker and put their arms around me."
