Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson scored the only goal of the game as England U21 signed off before next week's UEFA European Championship with an unimpressive 1-0 win in their warm-up game against Belarus.
Despite a plethora of Premier League stars amidst their ranks, including man-of-the-moment Harry Kane, Gareth Southgate's side had to wait until the 82nd minute to break down a 10-men Belarus side.
Ben Gibson poked home from close range in the 83rd minute after goalkeeper Uladzislau Vasiliuchak had spilled Luke Garbutt's free-kick.
Belarus had seen one of their men sent off just a minute before which led to the downfall of their resistence.
Southgate's Young Lions open the 2015 U21 Euros with a fixture against Portugal in Uherske Hradiste, Czech Republic on June 18.
