Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate won't risk Manu Pogatetz for tomorrow's clash with Chelsea.

Southgate said: "We are delighted to have Emanuel back training and that he is building up his fitness again.

"But he's been out for some time and we will not push him too hard. He'll come back into contention when he is ready."

Pogatetz had earmarked a return against Spurs on November 3 but even this match may come a little early for the central defender, who was the heart and soul of the side last season.
