Middlesbrough reportedly have an eye on Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake.
The 20-year old Dutch defender finished his one-month emergency loan with Reading on Wednesday night but it is believed that he could be farmed out elsewhere next season.
The Sun reports that Boro boss Aitor Karanka is a big admirer of Ake and is expected to make contact with the Blues this summer regarding a season-long spell at the Riverside Stadium next term.
The Teessiders experienced positive loans from Chelsea this season in the form of Patrick Bamford, who won the Championship Player of the Year award, Tomas Kalas and Kenneth Omeruo.
