Middlesbrough turn to Sheffield Utd striker Hulse

Middlesbrough are moving for Sheffield United striker Rob Hulse.

The Northern Echo says after tentative inquiries about Peter Crouch (Liverpool) and Jermain Defoe (Tottenham) were rebuffed last week, Boro manager Gareth Southgate has turned his attention to Hulse in an attempt to provide a muscular alternative to the injured Mido.
