Middlesbrough are in talks about a loan deal for Stoke City striker Dave Kitson.
The Mirror says the Stoke City striker, 29, has flopped at the Britannia Stadium following his £5.5m move from Reading last season.
He has only managed two Premier League goals for Tony Pulis' side.
Now Boro have agreed to pick up Kitson on loan until January.
New Middlesbrough manager Gordon Strachan believes the former Reading target man will be an ideal forward to boost his struggling attack in the Championship.
