Sheffield United striker James Beattie insists he's not angling for a move away from Bramall Lane.

Middlesbrough and Sunderland have been linked with Beatts, but the 30-year-old told the club's official website: "I am happy here and have been since signing in the summer. I have played under two managers and both have shown me the utmost respect.

"I know there will be plenty of rumours in the summer, but there has been for most of my career. Until Mr McCabe, or the gaffer tell me otherwise I am contracted here for another three years, so it really is just paper talk."
