David Nugget reportedly wants to leave Middlesbrough for Leeds United.

The 31-year-old striker has hardly featured under Aitor Karanka this season and is expected to leave on loan in January.

A host of Championship clubs are keen on Nugent but the former Leicester City star has Leeds as his preferred destination.

Also prominently jockeying for Nugent's signature are Leeds' Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday, but Garry Monk is keen to ease the burden on Chris Wood by bringing in some attacking help next month.
