The South Korea international striker told the Evening Gazette: "When I hit the ball it went exactly where I wanted it to go. For me it was a fantastic goal, but that is what I can do.
Lee also said: "I have been frustrated that I haven't been able to show so far what I can do. But it takes time to adapt to English football, and I am still in that process.
"When I came to England everything was new, on and off the pitch. Now I have a feeling of how the strikers move in every situation and that will help me to fit in better and make more of a contribution.
"I don't have any problem with English food, and now I understand a lot better what the other players are saying."
