Marlon King has been charged with attacking a woman in a nightclub, police said. Metropolitan Police said King, 28, will appear before magistrates later this month.
The Middlesbrough striker, who is on loan to Middlesbrough from Wigan, is alleged to have sexually assaulted and punched a 20-year old woman in a London nightclub in December.
King's solicitor Henri Brandman confirmed: "Marlon King has denied all charges."
