Middlesbrough skipper Boateng: Goals will flow for Tuncay

Middlesbrough captain George Boateng is confident teammate Tuncay Sanli will soon break his Premiership duck.

Boateng said: "Tuncay was disappointed not to score his first goal for the team at West Ham.

"He desperately wants that first goal and it's the same for Jeremie Aliadiere.

"It's important for any player to get that first goal because otherwise they put pressure on themselves.

"So the quicker the better. It doesn't matter how the ball goes into the net, whether it's a toe poke or whatever.

"But then I'm sure the goals will come. Tuncay is an exceptional player. He's very versatile and we are very fortunate to have him.

"With Aliadiere not fit at the moment it's a bonus for the team that he is here."
