Leeds United boss Garry Monk is a target for Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson.
The Sun says Boro want talks with Monk about leading them back to the Premier League.
Gibson will start the search for a new boss this week and is keen on Monk whose deal at Leeds United is about to end.
He was hoping that caretaker Steve Agnew would make a big pitch for the job but his results have been disappointing.
Monk cut his teeth at Swansea in the Premier League, but was sacked after less than two years in charge at the Liberty.
