Middlesbrough secure young trio to new deals

Middlesbrough are celebrating after securing three of their youngsters to new contracts today.

Right-back Tony McMahon has signed a one-year contact extension, while 21-year-old striker Tom Craddock has also signed a 12-month deal with the club.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old scholar Joe Bennett, who was born in Rochdale but brought up in Northallerton, has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Bennett is comfortable playing anywhere on the left. He has secured a two-year deal after a number of impressive performances for the reserve team last season.
