Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones is reportedly set to join English Premier League giants Liverpool.
The 28-year old Australian gloveman has been linked with the Reds for the past few weeks and the Daily Mail suggests that a deal is set to be finalised.
New Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is keen on Jones and made an offer of $AUD2.6million (£1.5m) to Boro recently which was turned down but has come back with an improved $AUD3.4million (£2m) bid which the Teessiders have reportedly agreed to.
Jones is expected to provide competition for Anfield's current number one Pepe Reina and will go head to head with Brazilian Diego Cavalieri for the back-up position whilst joining fellow countryman Dean Bouaznis on Merseyside.
