Off contract Bordeaux midfielder Clemente Chantome has offers from Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

Chantome has a choice to make: Middlesbrough or Sunderland.

According to the Sunderland Echo, the 28-year-old is in advanced talks with both Premier League club and will make a decision soon on who to join.

The former France U21 man is moving from Bordeaux on a free transfer after letting his contract run out at the Ligue 1 club and rejecting a new deal to stay in the south of France.
