Middlesbrough are reviving their interest in Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras.
Boro boss Gareth Southgate made inquiries after the Greece international over the summer and Rome sources say he is again interested in the forward.
Along with Boro, Lazio are also chasing Samaras ahead of the January market.
