Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is hoping to bring in Luciano Becchio on loan from Norwich City.
Boro went after the 29-year old former Leeds United striker on deadline day but were unsuccessful with their £1.8million proposal.
However, Mowbray is determined to land the Argentine on a temporary deal after he arrived at Carrow Road from Leeds in January.
