Middlesbrough have rejected a swap offer from Burnley for fullback Tony McMahon.
The Daily Star Sunday says Boro have told Burnley they won't trade McMahon for midfielder Chris Eagles.
Former Manchester United winger Eagles remains a target for Boro.
