Middlesbrough reject Bolton bid for Williams

Bolton Wanderers have failed with a bid for Middlesbrough’s Rhys Williams.

The Australian international was reportedly the subject of a £6million offer from the Trotters which Boro rejected.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been keen to get Williams back under his tutelage following their time together at Burnley but Boro’s Tony Mowbray is determined to keep him at the Riverside Stadium as he chases promotion.
