Tuncay Sanli says the club have gained strength from the last-gasp draw with Portsmouth on the weekend.
'Boro faced a tough task if they were to lose that match, and when they entered injury time 1-0 down, it seemed certain another loss was on the cards.
However, an equaliser from Marlon King snatched a point for Gareth Southgate's side and they are still in the hunt to climb out of the drop zone.
"It was very important that we saved a point from the game," said Tuncay.
"If we had lost the game, it would have been a bad defeat and everyone would have felt unhappy.
"It was such a good feeling to score at the end. Everyone at the club is feeling more positive now."
