Middlesbrough are eyeing Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini.
The Sunday Sun says Boro are monitoring Cudicini's situation at Tottenham Hotspur with a view to a January move for the Italian keeper.
The Teessiders banked £2.3 million from the sale of Brad Jones to Liverpool.
That left them with Danny Coyne and Jason Steele as their only senior stoppers.
And while Gordon Strachan admires Coyne and rates England Under-21 keeper Steele very highly, he is understood to want a No 1 with top-class, top-flight experience.
