Middlesbrough and Newcastle are ready to pounce for Fulham midfielder Steven Davis.

Rangers have hit a snag in their attempts to land Davis on a permanent move as Fulham have said they want to recoup the £4m they paid Aston Villa for him 12 months ago and are not keen on Daniel Cousin being used as a makeweight in the deal.
