Middlesbrough are chasing Birmingham City defender Liam Ridgewell.
Ridgewell is hoping to stay in the Premier League by making a £2million switch to Middlesbrough.
Defender Ridgewell, 23, was relegated with Birmingham last season but is now wanted by Boro boss Gareth Southgate.
