Middlesbrough management are using Manchester United to educate their players.

Boro coach Colin Cooper revealed to the Evening Gazette: "We've recently sat our midfielders down to show them a video of Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick at Manchester United.

"For me they are the best two midfielders in the country, especially working as a unit.

"They rarely go beyond the ball when they push forward, and they rarely let it get behind them when they are pulling back.
