Ross Turnbull says the entire club is behind Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate.
Turnbull, 23, said: "The manager has backing from the chairman and all the players. We are all behind him and you need that stability.
"It is a tight league so now we have to put a few results together, pick up points and climb the table.
"We don't seem to kill teams off and we have conceded late goals, which is disappointing.
"Fulham was out of character and not an enjoyable experience. We didn't deserve anything.
"But we are a young side and can only work hard to keep doing things better."
