Middlesbrough keeper Schwarzer in Celtic sights

The Mirror says the experienced Australia No1 is being lined up by Celtic for a Bosman move in the summer.

Schwarzer, signed from Bradford for £1.5million in 1997 and is the longest serving foreign player in Premier League history after making over 350 appearances for the club.

But the Australian international, who saved an 89th-minute penalty to help his nation draw 0-0 against China in their Asian World Cup qualifier yesterday, is poised to leave the Riverside Stadium and Celtic can offer him European football.
