Middlesbrough skipper Emanuel Pogatetz believes the club has enough talent to remain in the top flight.
'Boro find themselves in a precarious position in 19th place on the table and need at least five points to see any path out of there.
But the Austrian and the rest of the squad are confident of giving survival a shake.
"We haven't given up. We know it's getting harder with every match that we don't win but if we beat Hull there's still a chance we can stay in the league. There are still seven games to turn it around," he told Setanta Sports News.
"We have the talent to stay up. If we can get that win I think the belief will come back. I'm proud to be captain of this football club - it's a lot of pressure but it's what I get paid for."
