Middlesbrough fullback Luke Young is convinced he took on the world's best player in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Young enjoyed a good game against Cristiano Ronaldo and told the Evening Gazette: "He is head and shoulders above anyone else. He's quick, strong, had a good touch, can go inside and outside, and has the ability to lose you and pull away into a yard of space. There's no-one like him."
