Hull City striker Matty Fryatt is a target for Middlesbrough.
Nottingham Forest are another club who are admirers of Fryatt and made enquiries to Hull last week but it is Middlesbrough who appear to be leading the chase for the striker.
Sky Sports says Boro are turning to Fryatt after Ross McCormack committed to a new deal at Leeds United.
