Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose is interesting Middlesbrough.

Germany star Klose, 30, who scored a total of 10 goals at the 2002 and 2006 World Cup finals, has recently fallen out of favour at the Bavarian club.

He has just 16 goals in 42 games since making his Bayern debut at the start of the 2007 season.

Boro are short of options up front with Jeremie Aliadiere set to miss another four weeks with an ankle injury.
