Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has pulled out of talks for two midfield signings.
The Sun says Southgate has pulled the plug on swoops for Sean Davis and Michael Bradley.
Davis wants to stay at Portsmouth, while Heerenveen's Bradley looks to be moving to Hamburg for £3million.
