Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate admits he wants to hold onto midfielder Gary O'Neil.

Southgate, who revealed there have been no enquiries about the player, said: "We are going to sit down and see how he (O'Neil) feels about everything.

"He's someone we don't want to sell. In the first half of last season, he was an outstanding player for us."
