Middlesbrough chief Keith Lamb says they're proud of the stage they've created for manager Gareth Southgate and his young team.
"We try to keep our managers for as long as we possibly can at this football club," said Southgate. "Gareth is young and English and he is learning very quickly. We believe he will be a top manager.
"He is ambitious, honest and he has dignity, but we didn't realise how tough he is, or how much he cares.
"What we give our young players is a far greater opportunity to develop and play in the Premier League than Manchester United or Chelsea do.
"What we also have to do is think of ways to compete."
