Middlesbrough in dark over Diogo claims

Middlesbrough have been surprised to be linked with Olympiacos striker Luis Diogo. The Sunday Sun says reports claiming Boro are tracking Diogo — who only moved to Greece from Samba side Portuguesa in a £7 million switch in the summer — have alarmed the club on whose behalf self-styled “Boro scout” Derek Bragg insists he is working . . .as they have never heard of him! “Diogo is a very good player, he can make it at the Premier League,” Bragg told the Greek Press, following Olympiakos’ UEFA Cup win over Danish side Nordsjaelland last week.
