Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan has confirmed an approach has been received from Wolves for winger Adam Johnson.
The Times says Strachan, the Middlesbrough manager, has confirmed that there has been "contact but no bid," from Wolverhampton Wanderers regarding Johnson.
Middlesbrough are determined to keep the England Under-21 winger until the summer, when his contract expires. "He will stay in the window," said Strachan.
