Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate is to undergo fresh medical tests in a bid to identify why he is suffering from cramp late in games.

The England international has enjoyed one of the most injury-free spells of his career since moving from Real Madrid last summer but the latest problem, which centres on a lack of movement in his calves after exercise, is causing concern.
