Middlesbrough's Emanuel Pogatetz intends to play his normal aggressive game but without the red cards. He told the Evening Gazette: "It is hard when you have to miss games because you are injured but it is harder when you have been suspended because of a red card.
"I want to help the team as much as possible and if I am to do that I have to be on the field. I have to try to avoid it happening again in the future because I want to play every week."
But the Austrian added that he would not be making any changes to his aggressive game.
He said: "These things happen. I know that it only takes a mistimed tackle but I must not think about it too much.
"You never know what is going to happen in any football situation. But I hope that it won't happen again in the future."
