Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is set to make a new goalkeeper signing.

Despite having pinned his faith in goalkeepers Brad Jones and Ross Turnbull, the Evening Gazette says Southgate will still sign an experienced No3 keeper before the end of the month.

This will help to increase the competition for places at the club and provide cover.
